About Us
This is StemMed Students.
Our Story

Co-founders Mason Raymond and Tiana Egidi met in high school, both working the same food service job. After both realizing their interest in STEM but lacking opportunities given their first-generation low-income backgrounds, they founded StemMed Students to provide those same opportunities they sought to kids just like them.
Over the past few years, StemMed Students has expanded from just two high schoolers to students across the country, all fighting to become the next generation of scientists! Pictured below is just part of our amazing, growing team.

Our Journey
Recognition
Through our Roots in Research program, we were recently recognized for our work on the San Diego Union-Tribune. We hope to continue our work throughout the coming years, and hope that this is only the first headline we make!
